Position: Junior Accountant
Experience: 2 year and above
Duties and responsibilities:
Tally data entry including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statements ,and preparation of debtors / creditors statements.
Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in Tally.
Handling petty cash, preparing bills & receipts.
Maintaining accounting records, making copies, filing documents, etc.
Thorough with the statutory compliances of deducted and collected taxes , TDS, Profession tax.
Assist in maintaining Cost sheets for Project basis employees to Senior Managers.
Directors Reimbursement Exp Sheet and Tally Accounting
Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial data for reporting and analysis.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficient operations.
Assist in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in both digital and physical formats.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Knowledge of returns for TDS, GST and Profession tax.
BCom or MCom
Background in CA is preferred
Working Experience of Tally
Proficiency in using MS Office Applications (Excel & Word)
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to deal with clients and external contacts.
Proactive and well-organized.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
