Although a Supreme Court order in April mandated such treatments to be free in Delhi's private hospitals, that never translated tangibly. "Acid attack victims have to undergo recurring medical treatment. The Supreme Court (SC) had directed that hospitals should provide this treatment for free. While the direction was given, it had not been implemented."
