Apply For A Writing Contest That's Re-Imagining Erotic Storytelling

Samyukhtha Sunil

Much has been spoken about the porn industry’s lack of inclusive narratives and storytelling. There is often a sense of urgency along with an undeniably poor understanding of human pleasure underlying the majority of porn films that are produced.

In a country like ours where the conversation around sex, sexuality, and its expression is often looked down upon, a digital media collective is trying to direct the dialogue into larger safe spaces in order to normalise it.

Agents Of Ishq in its efforts to create a healthy breeding space for sexual expression and conduct is launching a unique blue film writing challenge for those who wish to change the narrative. As a part of their valentine month, #FiresOfFantasy campaign, AoI is initiating a writing challenge for Blue film/pornographic scripts.

The challenge is open to all adults (over the age of 18) who wish to dabble with erotic short story writing under a crisp word limit of about 500 words.

Winners of this challenge stand a chance to win a curated AoI hamper along with having their stories published on their digital portals.

The deadline for the submission is 8 February 2022 and the winners will be announced before Valentine’s Day this year.
