9 Mumbai Restaurants That Deliver Scrumptious Food Safely To Your Doorstep

Homegrown Staff

Since the outbreak, all of us have been encouraged and in some cases, mandated to stay inside and practise social distancing. However, this has also had a cascading effect on our daily routines. Survival has become our mode of life. Businesses, educational institutes, public commodities such as transport, have all come to a standstill. The restaurant business has also taken a hit. As we move towards systematic unlocking, it is useful to consider that as a society, we need to start supporting our local businesses while making sure we adhere to social distancing rules, ethically purchase our products, and participate in contact-less deliveries.

With a pandemic raging on, all these measures are extremely important, not only for the consumers but also, and perhaps all the more important, for people delivering our food to us. Submitting good ratings and giving substantial feedback can also be a method of supporting your local businesses in these novel times.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has also made a concise booklet of guidelines on the precautions one must take while buying and ordering food from outside.

Here is a list of local food delivery and take-out options that will help you satisfy our cravings:-

One where the details of its two chef-partners’ dynamic lives across the world will culminate into hyper-fresh calamari ceviches speckled with tender coconut flesh, or singed slabs of tenderloin herb-pasted to perfection, or a Korean Fried Chicken that sings with crispiness and personal twists…back on the coastal Bombay street, they call home.
