Streetwear as a clothing concept has been around since the 1990s. What had started off as being niche in its characteristic is now getting due recognition. Inspired by the California surf skate culture and the New York hip-hop scene, it has taken over the Urban India fashion landscape like no other. Numerous streetwear brands are popping up with a focus on maximising the hype factor and guess what? Everyone’s digging it!

Are you a streetwear dripgod? Think you have what it takes to start your streetwear brand and inspire others? Do you dream of becoming the next G.O.A.T in the Indian streetwear scene?

Capsul X Yellowbrick is giving away a full scholarship for the ‘Streetwear Essentials’ Online course, priced at $1000, to one deserving candidate.

Streetwear Essentials is an online course by the Parsons School of Design, New York and Complex Magazine, featuring many recognised leaders from across the streetwear world. One can explore all aspects of the streetwear industry, discover related careers, and build their skills with this online programme.

How to Enter:

To participate in this competition send in your submissions which must include:-

I. An original design of any one (Tee/Shirt/Hoodie/Sweatshirt/Jacket/Bottom)
Streetwear garments

II. Design Sketches/Renders + Moodbard + Theme/Inspiration + Product story

III. Your response to (in no more than 200 words each):

A. What is streetwear according to you?
B. Why do you want to take this course?

4. Your details: Full name + Email Id + Instagram handle + Phone number + Full mailing address + Copy of an Identity Card (for proof of D.O.B.)
