When it comes to the jazz scene in India, there has been an active evolution between the country’s penchant for assimilating new music and jazz music. Uplifting the surreal genre of music and its impact on the Indian audience, India is set have its very own jazz weekender.

Marking the exciting day with a much-awaited celebration in the capital, boxout.fm, Wild City, Gatecrash, Art Unites & Jazz in India, have joined hands to host a live music experience to celebrate local and global jazz cultures.

The festival marks the revival of a vibrant mélange of festivals and cultural events that had been halted in the wake of the pandemic. Focused fully on live music across jazz, soul, R&B, funk, fusion, world music; the festival packs a diverse lineup featuring international and national artists. Get ready to groove to the tunes of German dancefloor-jazz band Triorität, Dutch world music duo Boi Akih along with Indian artists like the prolific jazz duo of drummer Gino Banks and guitar virtuoso Rhythm Shaw, live R&B band T.ill APES, neo-soul singer Tribemama Marykali, 8-piece big band The Revisit Project, Hindustani-meets-electronic outfit Pakshee and more.

Slated to bring to life the contemporary-art inspired environs of 1AQ in Mehrauli, the weekender is set to feature a multifaceted festival experience that allows jazz enthusiasts to soak in the incredible Indo-German live music lineup, try out food and beverage experiences, bars, curated pop-ups and a wide range of live performances by global and homegrown artists.
