COVID-19 Aid: Bengaluru, Contact This Initiative For Freshly Cooked Meals

Meghna Mathew

With the Second Wave of the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc in India, the time for the community to step up is now. Illness, death and disparity is stretched far and wide - it brings about the need for citizens to step up and aid those who continue to struggle under the weight of the virus.

In Bengaluru, an initiative that does just that is run by Cheran Kumer. Considering the inability of COVID-19 patients and frontline workers, he is providing freshly cooked food to them, in order to keep their nutrition up. A vaccinated person delivers the food, thereby reducing the risk to them, too.

The food is being provided at a cost as low as INR 30 for those who can afford it, and for free of cost for those who can not.

An initiative that will undoubtedly aid those in need of help in Bengaluru, this food delivery service is one of many performing selfless acts, and for that, we can not thank them enough.
