Emergency Helplines To Call During Heavy Rains & Floods In Mumbai

Mrinalini Nayak

With incessant rain and strong winds for the past few days in Mumbai, the city has seen multiple cases of waterlogging, collapses and uprooting of trees. The situation has brought plenty of challenges for the city’s inhabitants, especially given the COVID-19 situation.

The India Meteorological Department informed that the rains are expected to continue today, 7 August, even though some relief was seen earlier in the day. The National Disaster Response Force, hence, remains on high alert.
