#HGDrop: ‘Truth Bombs’ Candles Come With Relatable Scents & Quirky Punchlines

Meghna Mathew

Whether you’re in the mood to meditate, lie down quietly as you read a book or even experiencing a need to calm yourself down, you’re sure to turn to one item to help set the tone — candles. They’re magical things. They mind their own business in a corner, but as soon as they are lit, their entire focus is suddenly placed on you!

It’s 2020 and we need them more than ever! Difficult times also call for innovative choices and so, it indeed might be the time to let go of the same old vanilla, lavender, and so on. Homegrown company Rad Living, too, seemed over the idea of mundane candles, and hence, devised their new collection, ‘Truth Bombs’.

Rad Living recognised how 2020 has moulded people’s experiences, and created candles for ‘Work From Home’, ‘Procrastination’, ‘New Found Bakers’ and more. That’s not all, these candles are appropriately scented with fragrances that go hand-in-hand with the names, such as cucumber lemonade scent for ‘Vegans’, almond and shea butter for ‘Makeup Hoarders’ and lavender tobacco for ‘Writer’s Block’! If you thought that was relatable enough, wait till you read the quirky messages that accompany each candle.

It is said that candles are meant to keep you focused and relaxed, but nothing ever went wrong with a little pinch of relatable humour — Rad Living simply put two and two together!
