Hornbill House Near Ooty Is A Gorgeous Eco-friendly Escape

Hornbill House is a part of the 140-acre O’land Estate on the outskirts of Ooty. A two-bedroom house with views overlooking the valley, it’s perfect to rent for a weekend away from the dust and noise of the city. The rooms are large and airy, with plenty of natural light, and the house implements several green measures to stay eco-friendly such as solar lighting, biomass water heaters and the usage of low-energy appliances. If you’re interested in visiting, the best way to get here is to drive from Ooty (45-minute drive) or Coimbatore (2.5-3 hour drive).
