It has been a year since Reshma Qureshi’s estranged brother-in-law threw acid on her face. Today, she continues to live with a missing eye and skin that is badly scarred and she is known for recording one-of-a-kind beauty tutorials for her own youtube channel. In association with an organisation called Make Love Not Scars, which aims to end acid sales across India, Reshma has been bending beauty norms ever since she achieved the determination to not look back.
