Homegrown Staff

In 2015, the United Nations set out a deadline for the rest of the world: to ensure a sustainable, environment-friendly future for the world, 17 specific goals must be met by the year 2030. There is no doubt that the responsibility rests upon the shoulders of the innovators, and to foster their creativity, Maker’s Asylum has partnered with Xavier-Emlyon Business School to create a one-of-a-kind learning program.

D.I.V.E is a 4 week-long learning program, being held from 4th-29th November, focused on building solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals where the participants will get to innovate new products, frame new business models and get exposed to a challenging context through design thinking exercises, discussions, workshops, analysis of real-world problems. The idea is to help participants innovate in some of the most common areas with minimal resources and create a sustainable product and a business model to oversee its relevance. The participants will go through the diverse processes of team formations, field visits, paper prototyping and more. Additionally, the participants will also be guided by mentors from different walks of life - designers, social entrepreneurs, policymakers, marketing executives and more.

If you think you have what it takes, head over to Maker’s Asylum’s website here to apply.

(Note : The extended deadline is 10th October 2019)
