Mumbai, Join Us For A Day With The Best Creative Minds In The City - Register Now

Homegrown Staff

There are those who prefer to run with the pack, who choose safety and familiarity over constant changes, and then there are those who embody the spirit of ‘hustle’. Individuals who never stop, and are constantly reinventing and challenging the set norms of society. This weekend we’ll be paying homage to such firebrands who’ve gathered together for only day to share their experiences, knowledge and artistry. At Puma’s #RunTheStreets we are celebrating the hustlers and acknowledging the work they’ve done. They’ve changed the face of India’s artistic community in countless ways. And while some have not only changed the direction of their career paths, they have certainly reinvented creative fields by adding their own spin to it.

For this one-day congregation we will be taking over Todi Mills in Lower Parel with a showcase of the burgeoning creative industries of India and the individuals driving this city forwards. During this multi-venue event you can join in on workshops, masterclasses and panel discussions designed to engage and educate you on the many movements across the city that are forging a new artistic revolution. After the day is done, join us at an exclusive after-party featuring music from some of India’s most revered artists and a spirit that will carry you into the wee hours of the morning.

To join the movement register here and for more details RSVP to the event on Facebook.

Architecture is a subtle, often unnoticed art form and it’s all about the fusion of practicality and beauty. On the other hand Street art is bold, in-your-face radicalism using space to address socio-cultural-political issues through the medium of art and carpentry. It’s designed to grab your attention. Virtual reality is immersive—it’s a new dimension of space, it’s about literally putting yourself in another person’s shoes. All these mediums interplay to map out the future of art in the city. Talking about the future possibilities for creative cities can be an overwhelming challenge but our panel will try to decipher what lies in store.
