90’s kids, unite! The ice cream sandwich of your childhood dreams is here, and it’s a proper blast from the past. Remember ripping open those flimsy Gems packets, and risking them falling everywhere? Or perhaps good ol’ Jim Jam—the OG when it came to twisting biscuits before you ate them (no Oreo, not everything is about you)? Sugar coated jelly sweets? COLOURFUL SPRINKLES? Apologies if we seem overly excited, but what if we told you we found a place that combined everything together, to make the perfect little dessert?
Meet the Bombay Ice Cream Sandwich at the Bombay Brasserie, in Worli. It takes three fan-favourite biscuits (coconut-y Nice biscuits, crunchy Bourbon biscuits and of course, Jim Jam), slaps in a slab of vanilla ice cream between them, and then showers it all with rainbow sprinkles. Not to forget, the accompanying wafer biscuit, jelly sweets, eclairs, and Gems! All they’re missing is a side of Energee, the only flavoured milk drink that would compliment this meal.
