Photostory: Devesh Uba Captures Nigerian Saloon Art

Admin
Here’s what he had to say about it:
“It’s hard to be a street-photographer and not to love street art. Therefore, this photo-story is dedicated to Saloon Art, which is hard to miss here in West Africa. I have clicked several saloon pictures in India, especially the ones in older part of Indian cities and for some reason, I have always been fascinated with them.
Here in Nigeria, I noticed that most of the saloons have wonderful art on shop signboards with some very interesting names as well. I decided to capture them and create a photo story based on this Saloon Art. These pictures have been made in Lagos and Osogbo in Osun Sate.”
