Sample Mumbai’s Deadliest Cold Coffee At This Bandra Cafe

They say that every journey begins with a single step, but sometimes you need a little nudge to actually get moving. For most of the modern world, the cornerstone of success is an innocuous little bean from Ancient Ethiopia which for the last six centuries has been energising and assisting the minds of Earth’s best and brightest... as well as curing uncountable hangovers along the way. We’re talking, of course , about coffee – the dark elixir which fuels the masses of unprepared students, the reluctant night-shifters and the creatively-challenged writers. But as every caffeine lover knows, this boundless energy comes at a price and like a young Anakin Skywalker, you could easily find yourself slipping over to the dark side.

You’d think that an easy way to avoid these jittery side-effects would be to switch to the seemingly less intimidating formula of cold coffee, but we’ve found a place that has blown that theory out of the water. At The Boston Cupcakery, located in Andheri West and Bandra West, which is know primarily for its - you guessed it - cupcakes, lies a truly deadly creation. Their Cappuccino Cold Coffee may look harmless as its thick frothiness lulls you into a false sense of security. The perfect balance of ice-cream and aromatic coffee beguiles you with its innocence, but behind the sweet exterior a caffeinated demon lies in wait.

So if you’re looking for a way to jump-start your day with something for your sweet tooth, this is the way to go. But be warned, while this may just be the best cold coffee we have tried in a while, it is definitely not for the uninitiated coffee drinkers – having had a few strange caffeine-driven incidents here at Homegrown HQ, we speak from experience.
