Anyone who works in a creative environment knows exactly how frustrating it can be to go through a dry spell; where the words don’t sound right, the melody is always off or the colours just seem dull. When this mode switches on, it’s time for you to switch off. The best cure for a creative block is to get away from your regular routine and engage in something new and exciting to trigger a wave of inspiration. No one knows this better than the folks at the Roadtrip Experience Project ( RTX ) who take artists, musicians, performers, planners, Film-makers and photographers out of their comfort zones to work together with personalities and people, locally, for a series of projects and collaborations.
This November they’re heading to Vietnam where 16 collaborators will be travelling together on a road (and plane, and boat)-trip spanning 13 days. During this time you’ll get a chance to experience the many adventures Vietnam has to offer. From eco-resorts to isolated retreats nestled aside in quaint scenery to jam-packed party towns, brimming with street food and beer, there’s something for everyone. You’ll get to visit the emerald waters of Ha Long bay and explore the history of The Old Quarters of Hanoi. Along the way you’ll be invited to collaborate with each other as well as locals on a set of unique and creative projects that benefit the cultural ecosystem.
RTX aims to redefine the parameters of travel, to introduce you to a world where the possibilities are endless. If you are looking to experience an authentic Vietnam along with a group of innovators and artists who will enrich your journey then sign up here to be part of the Roadtrip Experience.
There are limited seats available but if you mention Homegrown in the ‘How Did You Hear About Us’ section to increase your chance of nabbing a spot.
