When Assam School Kids Gave Up Their Midday Meal To Feed 8 Orphaned Baby Rhinos

Karan Kaul

While the Wildlife Trust of India has collected about Rs 3,000 to save the rhinoceros affected by the Assam floods, young students of Nepali Khuti Banuwa LP School are doing their bit to help the endangered species.

There is only so much these young ones could possibly do at their age, but as a touching gesture, they skipped their midday meal and donated its monetary worth towards purchasing milk for 8 baby rhinos orphaned by the deluge.
