Dimple Kapadia Is Set To Star In The Next Christopher Nolan Film

Bollywood Veteran actress, Dimple Kapadia has just bagged a role in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming film, Tenet. Known for her roles in Bollywood films like Bobby, Saagar, Rudaali, and Gardish amongst many others, this film will mark the 61-year old actress’s debut in Hollywood.

Starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh in key roles, they are joined by Indian actress Dimple Kapadia and French actress Clemence Poesy. Tenet is an espionage drama, Christopher’s first film after 2014’s mystery war drama, Dunkirk, which earned the filmmaker his first Oscar nomination as the best director. It will be shot across seven countries, including India.

But this won’t be the first English language Film in which she will feature. She was noted for her portrayal of the title role in the American production, Leela in 2002.

On Thursday night, Dimple Kapadia was congratulated by her daughter, Twinkle Khanna and other family members on Twitter, finally surfacing the news in social media.

After her last release, Finding Fanny in 2014, she will soon be seen in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

This is a moment of pride and excitement for the Christopher Nolan fans across India. Eagerly waiting for it to release now!
