Mumbai To Soon Have Its Own 'Tourist Village' Near The Proposed Marina By Mumbai Port Trust

Admin

In the coming years, Mumbaikars will soon have a place for their quintessential staycation--a little hard to imagine for anybody who's lived here long enough to know there isn't space for anything new unless we destroy something old. To escape the bustling side of Mumbai, The Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) is currently under talks to develop a ‘tourist village’ next to the proposed Marina, inside the port land premises. This new concept has stemmed out of the idea of having a weekend getaway spot within a city itself, to avoid traveling far away to hill stations or into other cities.
