Mumbai: You Can Now Watch Unlimited Movies In Theatre For INR 799 A Month

Sherina Poyyail

Carnival Cinemas, which owns 11 screens across Mumbai, is now offering an unlimited monthly movie pass which starts off at Rs. 499. So all you movie aficionados can stop clicking refresh on Torrentz and can start going to the actual theatre without burning a hole in your pocket.

LBB reports that the pass, which is called MoviECard comes in two categories--the Weekdays and the AllDays MoviECard. While the former allows you to watch unlimited movies during the weekday for the crazy low price of Rs.499 per month, the latter gives you the freedom to watch unlimited movies all through the week for Rs.799 per month.

The card also comes in couple variation, which allows you to take your better half or equally movie-crazy friend along for the adventure. The Couple Weekday MoviECard is priced at Rs.998 and the Couple AllDays Pass will set you back by only Rs.1598, both of which are valid for 30 days.

You can book tickets at the Box Office three hours in advance or book them online  just one hour in advance. The only catch is that you cannot use these cards during national holidays and you cannot watch the same movie more than thrice. A strange rule perhaps, but acceptable considering all the perks they’ve thrown in.
