The Future Of Sports Is Here: Australian Wins First US Drone Racing Championship

Devang Pathak

A bizarre twist in India-Pakistan relations came when both countries sparred over a drone flying over Pakistani soil. The Pakistani Army shot down the drone, claiming it to be an Indian spy drone while India denied the claim. The confusion over the drone now seems to stand clear with a Chinese company DJI pointing out that its drone, which was shot down at the LOC, is easily procurable from any website or re-sellers. This is the power of drones in the 21st century- capable of sparking diplomatic rows across borders or delivering pizzas. It's no wonder then that drones are also redefining the definition of sports.
