As our Social Media Manager, you'll oversee our organization's social media presence and strategy. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing social media campaigns to effectively connect with our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, a knack for creating engaging content, and a strategic mindset to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

Content Creation & Strategy:

➔ Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Homegrown's marketing goals and brand identity

➔ Create, curate, and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms

➔ Plan and schedule posts, considering optimal timing and frequency to maximize reach and engagement

➔ Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with each segment

➔ Conceptualize, plan, and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, events, and brand initiatives

➔ Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive traffic

Community & Analytics:

➔ Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly

➔ Foster meaningful interactions with followers, building a strong online community around the brand

➔ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, and click-through rates

➔ Analyze data to derive actionable insights and refine social media strategies accordingly

➔ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and best practices in social media marketing

Teamwork:

➔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are consistent across all channels

➔ Coordinate with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members to ensure cohesive content

➔ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the social media team (if applicable)

What You Will Bring:

➔ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

➔ 3+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns

➔ In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices

➔ Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms

➔ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail

➔ Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas

➔ Strategic mindset and the ability to translate business goals into effective social media strategies

➔ Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns ➔ Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

➔ Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus

Through our digital media publication we build the identity for emerging voices for all facets of contemporary youth culture; through our agency/content studio we connect brands with today's youth in ways that drive culture forward. Through our experiences we create cultural impact on-ground. And now through #HGAcademy and commune of creative thought-leaders, we provide up-skilling and education on creative careers.
