Submit Your Ideas For Amazon TV Series With #WriterSlam

Harini Ashar

Announcing their partnership with Triforce creative, Amazon Prime Video is inviting writers from all over the globe to pitch their ideas for shows that best reflect the platform’s diversity. They are looking for stories that headline themes of inclusivity, and explore the experiences of gender, LGBTQ+, ethnic, religious, or disabled communities, among others. There is no limitation on the genre either, and they can range from drama to thriller to comedy. The objective of this search is to discover the best new voices for TV, and to make them as varied as possible.

Interested candidates are required to send a short synopsis of their ideas, along with 10-15 pages of an episode of the series. After reviewing all the applications, upto 20 submissions will be shortlisted, and 5 finalists will get a chance to perform their extracts at the WriterSlam event on the 6th of September in London.
