It's Not Just Pichai. Here Are Other India-Born CEOs Leading The Biggest Companies In The World

Sundar Pichai, the man behind Google Chrome, took over as one of Silicon Valley's most powerful technology leaders this week. When Google announced that he was taking over as CEO on August 11, it wasn't long before people started pointing out that three Indians were at the helm of three of the biggest global companies now--namely, Google, Microsoft, and Nokia by Pichai, Staya Nadella, and Rajiv Suri respectively. Their coincidental rise to power piqued our curiosity about other Indian corporate leaders around the world and it turns out they're anything but few and far between. This claim is also backed up by a recent study by Professor Wadhwa, the Director of Research at the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Research Commercialisation at Duke University, who estimated that about 15 percent of the start-ups in the region belong to Indians.
