1000 Km Worth Of Eco-Friendly 'Plastic' Roads To Be Installed In Mumbai

Remember how delighted we were reporting about Rajagopalan Vasudevan’s revolutionary invention, that turned plastic wastes into highways of the future? Well in no time, Mumbai government has decided to adopt a similar technology that would include 3kg to 6kg of plastic with every 100kg of tar used to build asphalt roads. With the intention of improving durability and reducing soil pollution, the government aspires to build 1000 km worth of such roads in the metropolitan city.
