This Delhi Pool House Is The Perfect Blend Of Wood And Concrete

Of late, the architecture industry has been breaking down walls (pun intended) when it comes to new designs. While most clients welcome this change, several prefer for designs to remain congruent with the landscape. Yet, this Pool House designed by 42mm Architecture managed to test that limit with their design that blends in remarkably well with its environment.

Noted as a ‘pebble in the grass’, the pool house was meant to act as an entertainment center of sorts, to a home that had been built 20 years ago. While by itself, the house would seem rather out of place, the surroundings tend to soften its bold edges, ebbing the stark contrast the house would’ve otherwise had. As their website states, “Imagine a lone pebble in the grass. It looks distinct and yet blends in. It almost seems like it is tucked into the lush green landscape within a stunning pool court.”
