The trajectory of a cultural fabric is largely dictated by the dialogue exchanged between individuals sustaining it. This discourse, in turn, needs a breathing ground of opinions, ideations, debates, and art for its survival. In order to house human interactions that promote ethical thinking and personal expression, we need built-masses and events that enable interaction and induce feelings of familiarity and openness.
Future Collective is one such property that hopes to create a community of like-minded thinkers and creatives who will collaborate and engage in creating works and conversations that are rooted in deliberation and conscious and free-thinking. The idea of the Future Collective is to mould our culture in an informed, ethical and responsible way. They aim to showcase and introduce a dialogue between artists, brands and consumers at events with a primordial focus on sustainability and innovation within the realm of commercial viability. They also question existing consumption values and redirect the trajectory of an ongoing consumerism cycle. To this end, they are organizing a Conscious Culture Design Fair presented by Dalmia Bharat Group and powered by Tencel India to showcase a new kind of alternative culture under various rubrics including fashion, apparel, accessories, art, furniture and furnishings, products, and music.
The fair that takes place from February 29 to March 01 will be spread across Delhi’s Bikaner House which has been meticulously restored to its original form by Mumbai-based conservationist Abha Narain Lambah to house the fair. Built-in the 1930s, Bikaner House is one of the largest mansions in our country, complete with a fragrant garden laced with jasmine and frangipani, an open-air amphitheater, a grand imperial ballroom & a newly opened sprawling exhibition space- The Centre for Contemporary Arts.
The curation is diverse in nature and an amalgamation of experiences have been curated to promise a cultural experience of the highest quality and individuality. Iconic brands across fashion, arts, and design will be showcasing at the event.
Respected creatives like Abraham and Thakore, Nicobar, Péro, and 11.11 will come on board to showcase their exhibitions crafted especially for the fair. The fair aims to be a melange of conversations and experiences. The founding team consisting of Vidyun Singh, Asha Kochhar, and Roma Narsinghani bring their own unique power and sensibility to the event. As pioneers in the fashion and culture space for over 30 years, their combined networks spread across India and abroad bring unparalleled exposure and opportunity for brands to showcase and represent their work at a platform that offers them exposure, collaboration, and bountiful opportunity.
A list of musical and cuisine experiences have been accommodated in the fair to ensure a more wholesome experience for all present.

All of these experiences have lead to the natural culmination of this curation. She wishes to integrate his passion with her profession and the result is this wonderful melange of cultures and contexts getting fused together in one space to communicate and engage.
