Since their history is relatively unknown,this is an initiative to bring closer introspection and investigation. V. National Council Of Science Museums - Ministry of Culture

NCSM is a website listing all the major science museums in India like the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (VITM), Nehru Science Centre, amongst many others.
