HG Hires – Motion Design Intern

Over the years Homegrown has established itself as a youth media company powered by an online publication, creative agency, an events arm and a talent management vertical. At the core of this lies our team of creative, fun and hard-working individuals that are pulling all the invisible strings that make it all happen. Presenting India’s dynamic youth culture with authenticity, dismantling cultural agendas to create a space that is nonlinear and unshackled from stereotypes and translating these elements into offline socials and events is a lot of balls to juggle. But you know what they say about the circus – you will never be bored.

Homegrown is seeking an innovative, hyper-­creative, Motion Design intern to join our Mumbai office. This designer will develop unique show packages, create title cards, end cards, lower thirds, and on screen text templates and continue to create compelling new animations in an ever-expanding platform.

They will come up with big ideas and bring them to life through cutting edge animations and motion-graphics. The designer will also work on branding for larger video and editorial initiatives. They will collaborate with designers and photo & video editors on the creative team to execute and assist the design team with other production and animation needs as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to design layouts, storyboarding, graphics, animations and branding.
• Proficiency in After Effects and Creative Suite programs
  (Cinema 4D experience is a PLUS)
• A strong balance of identity, typography, and layout skills
• Strong, open, positive and persistent communication style
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Genuine ability to collaborate and contribute to a team effort

• Designing new videos using existing brand languages
• Designing clever interactions through motion graphics
• How to optimise your work for social media
• Working on revisions from design team and departmental feedback

• Utilising your tools efficiently to meet with deadlines
