In a country where 21.9% of the population lives below the poverty line, where regional and monetary disparities in education are beyond sub-standard and those (especially of our burgeoning middle class) who are lucky enough to afford anything better are still unlucky enough to have their parents need to spend more than 50% of their annual income on what's nothing more than a huge bet on their future, we need to understand what the cost of being a student in the country really is.
