Sex, in general, is a shamed topic in India –– from taboo to stereotypes, conversations around sexual relations are undoubtedly pumped with judgement. Once can only imagine, then, just how foreign of a subject BDSM and kinks prove to be for most of the Indian population.
Owing to this (among other things), several individuals encounter obstacles while trying to explore their sexual preferences. Kinks and the like are shied away from.
The Sangya Project in collaboration with The Intimacy Curator present The Kink Project –– a space to help you navigate your likes and dislikes, comfort and discomforts, and more around BDSM, power exchanges, kinks, etc.
As mentioned on the Sangya Project’s Instagram, the project is “an online program to build you a roadmap to your own kink persona, desires, cravings, boundaries, fantasies and so much more.”
Helping you achieve comfort in what you seek to achieve out of your desires, The Kink Project is a no-shame safe space to empower yourself, and gain autonomy. The project is divided into three stages –– Stage 1: First Introductions, Stage 2: Where do your kinks come from? and Stage 3: Where do you go from here?
We encourage you to reach out and participate in this program if you are finding it difficult to steer through the confusion. Initiatives like The Kink Project are here to inform and support, without a sliver of embarrassment or shame.
