Seventeen years after its founding, péro has opened its first flagship store in New Delhi's Lodhi Colony. Conceived as an immersive extension of the brand's universe, the space combines handcrafted materials, artisan-made details, and fluid architecture to reflect péro's longstanding commitment to craft and storytelling. Designed to function not only as a retail destination but also as a venue for exhibitions, talks, and community gatherings, the flagship transforms shopping into a cultural experience.
After seventeen years of stitching together craft and community, péro has finally given itself a permanent address. The label's first flagship store has opened in Lodhi Colony, New Delhi, marking a physical manifestation of everything péro has stood for since its founding.
True to form, the store refuses to behave like a conventional shop. Designed as an immersive extension of the péro universe, the space is built the same way the label builds its garments: through layering. Stone, brick, wood, metal and terrazzo along with terracotta tiles and hand-beaten brass, while handcrafted elements gathered from artisans across the country stitch the interiors together the way péro's ateliers stitch fabric, embroidery and trim into a single silhouette. Even the outdoor flooring carries this ethos forward, made from stone excavated directly from the site itself.
Architecturally, the store leans soft and fluid, curved forms dissolve the boundary between indoor and outdoor, letting light and air move through the space much like péro's garments move on the body, without any rigid structure, breathing and alive. If you look closely, you'll find the brand's signature heart motif recurring throughout the interiors, a nod to the philosophy of love that has anchored péro's storytelling from day one.
A flexible display system means the store can shape-shift into an exhibition or gallery overnight, while its open layout is built to host talks, presentations and gatherings, turning the space into a genuine cultural instead of being a place to simply transact. It's less a shop than a living room for the brand's ever-expanding community.
For a label that has always prized craft and collaboration over spectacle, the flagship feels less like an expansion and more like a homecoming. In choosing Lodhi Colony — a part of Delhi entwined with its own journey. péro is calling it their own little "pérodise," and the way péro has built a home: a space where fashion, storytelling and material culture thrive in one whole, the name feels fitting.
