Their services include five-course Indian meals, cooking classes, massage facilities and a fully-stocked bar amongst the other finer luxuries of life. Insider intel on parties, LGBTQ-friendly cafes and haunts in Delhi are given readily, with warm compliments. Trailblazing the cause of Pink Tourism, the hotel also offers customised gay-friendly holidays across India. “The entire staff from the manager to the cook comprise of gay and bisexual men. This way we ensure that none of our guests have to feel uncomfortable or feel compelled to hide their gay identity,” says founder and owner Sanjay Malhotra. The hotels an extension of Malhotra’s labour of love –Indjapink, that offers bespoke travel experiences around India for the gay community, is also a space for gay travellers in India to network and understand the gay culture of the country.
Mister And Art Haveli, an extension of the same concept, has also opened up in Jaipur. Designed on its predecessor’s model, it is surrounded by hills and farmlands, just a short distance away from the majestic Amer Fort.
