In India, mangoes lay claim over summer. Growing up, summer was always synonymous to mangoes – it is, after all, the perfect season for a lovely dessert of cold, sliced pieces of delicious fruit after every meal. Arguably, the mouth-watering Alphonso Mango ranks the charts as the sweetest, most delectable mango in the market. Also called the haapus or haafuz, this mango grows in forests along the western and Konkan coast of the country. From here, the Alphonso travels all over the country – rightfully earning itself the title of India’s favourite mango.
While there’s nothing quite like slicing into the fresh, golden-yellow fruit itself, there is something that comes quite close. Mirzam is a popular Dubai-based brand of chocolate that has become quite a favourite with the local residents – and most rightly so. Now, Mirzam has a introduced a new flavour: The Alphonso Mango chocolate. In their own words, this new flavour is “Hundreds of Fresh Indian Alphonso Mangos, transformed into a subtle white chocolate.”
Introducing this flavour in its new Monsoon Range, Mirzam offers quite a unique adventure for your taste buds. The Mango flavour of the Mirzam chocolate is a blend of cocoa butter, cane sugar, Alphonso Mango and Skim Milk powder. In all of its chocolates, Mirzam follows a bean-to-bar policy – meaning that each cocoa bean is roasted and ground by hand to develop the Mirzam flavour, right in front of the visitors. The Mango Flavour too, promises of the authentic relish of a haapus, all wrapped up in a deliciously gram-worthy Mirzam package. The delectable flavour of summer’s sweetest mango mixed with Mirzam’s rich, handmade white chocolate -what more could one ask for?
