Gaming Levels Up: IIT Bombay & Government To Roll Out Courses In Gaming, VFX, Animation & More

Only members of the gaming community will be able to tell you just how much the virtual sport demands –– it also requires focus, training and determination. As the future in technology and young talent, gaming in India seems to be on the right track.

In more good news for gaming enthusiasts, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with IIT Bombay will form a Centre of Excellence that will teach courses in gaming, VFX, animation and other related fields.

Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar announced this venture and did not fail to mention that this step by the Modi government is to further #MakeInIndia. According to ANI, he also said that the Centre is at an advanced stage of preparation and will come into effect as the new session begins in 2021.

As exciting as this announcement is, we cannot wait to see what the response to it will be!
