There’s no denying that India is a land of entrepreneurs, but when they’re scattered across the length and breadth of the country there are few opportunities for these entrepreneurial minds to meet. The Beachhouse Project is here to change that. Over the years they’ve hosted creative residencies in Goa and Kochi with huge success and now they’re back with a third edition in the hills of Shillong. Their aim is to open up an intimate conversation between a selected group of creative entrepreneurs and build a network that stretches across states and disciplines.

The Shillong getaway will be held between the 14th and 20th of July and includes interesting opportunities to explore the natural scenery of the wettest place in India. Intersperse your brainstorms with trips to idyllic waterfalls and spend the night in the mountain forests building your business with like-minded individuals. The residency will be hosted in an 18th century British Bungalow which was once owned by the Nawab of Dacca. The villa is now a heritage stay with a lineage dating back more than hundred years.

As with their previous editions they will be hosting a Social Challenge to test out your creative and innovative spirits. The nature of the challenge is yet to be announced but the Kochi edition assisted in developing the infrastructure of the Biannale while the Goa session tackled the issues regarding rising coconut prices. And this year will surely bring another opportunity to give something back to the local. So if you’re a creative entrepreneur looking for a wave of inspiration, a stimulating conversation or just a week to build your business in a new location, apply now for a week that you’ll never forget.

Applications close on the 20th of June, book your seat here.
