The past week has been particularly hard for the residents of Hyderabad with heavy rainfalls and massive flooding, the city has come to a halt. Multiple deaths have been reported and entire colonies have been submerged. Apart from this, the residents are also facing challenges such as waterlogging, electricity shortage and open drains. As incessant rains continue to haunt the city, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been actively carrying out on-ground action. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) took to Twitter to confirm that more rains are forecasted over the next 3-4 days.
They have also urged citizens to stay indoors and dial 100 for emergencies or the Disaster Response Force Team at 040-29555500.
