HelpNow For COVID-19: 24*7 Ambulance Service By IIT Bombay Students

At a time when Maharashtra is reeling under the impact of the Second Wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, IIT Bombay students and alumni have started an initiative called HelpNow to help people deal with the crisis. With the dream of saving 70,000 lives a day, it was first started by 3 IITians on May 1, 2020, during the onslaught of the First Wave of the pandemic. The trio were driven to action when they encountered first-hand the breakdown of an ambulance system in India. Over the last 15 months, HelpNow has built the largest private network of ambulances in Mumbai.

HelpNow provides sanitised ambulances with ventilators across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bengaluru.

24*7 network is available to patients, healthcare workers, hospitals, testing labs and government bodies through the helpline number, 8899889952.
