Walking On Air With Robin Singh, The Rising Star of Indian Football
[March 26th marked 30 years of the Nike Air Max’s iconic goodness. And as they embarked on their own epic rewind, we dug deep into the past of personalities who fit Nike’s own powerful legacy. We also celebrated it with some incredible offline festivities at Mehboob studio but before we digress, here’s Robin Singh. Star striker of Bengaluru FC and one of India’s leading football talents.]
Robin Singh is disarmingly straightforward. A literal personification of a quote that once suggested people only ‘talk about what they know,” and as far as Singh is concerned, what he knows extends from one pillar to another, each saddled with a capital F. There’s Family and there’s Football, and neither can exist without the other’s full support. But in a country where football is only just garnering the acclaim it deserves, perhaps a little context is due—a rewind of sorts to the building blocks that make Robin tower above so many others.
