A platform created for self-expression, House of Vans personifies the convergence of talent in an event that hosts music, art and sport events collectively to create one gargantuan celebration.
House of Vans is redeemed for its workshops and lineups all over the world, hosting some incredible talent and massive parties.  While Blue Frog will be hosting, we’re truly excited to be partnering with this one-of-a-kind event--especially alongside the ever-dynamic Kulture Shop--so allow us to delineate its workings for you.
Before we get into local happenings however, allow us to whet your appetite with a view of Vans Culture abroad…
In the heart of Brooklyn, House of Vans is a 25,000 square-foot utopian maze with a concrete bowl and street course. Over the years, House of Vans has held an array of events including live music, art shows and skate events-with the primary goal of strengthening the culture of skateboarding in the community.
In other continents, House of Vans continues to stagger audiences with its entertaining line-ups. In Berlin, they held 3 memorable nights of music, photography, skate culture and street fashion with creative forces like Boiler Room, Firmament and skate legends like Ray Barbee and Tommy Guerrero. Artists like Modeselektor, Boys Noize, Radio Slave were some of that that were featured in the line-up.

As you can imagine, innovative collaborations are always part of this brand force’s agenda.
Today, House of Vans is a brand that pushes the envelope- and refuses to be acknowledged as solely a “skate brand” but prefers to be coupled up with the titling of “music brand”.  After looking to expand its footprint on the East Coast, Vans began hosting house parties in 2011, entering into a long-term lease agreement for a 25000 sq. ft warehouse space in Brooklyn. Today, as the program has gained steam, Vans expanded it this year with one-off “House of Vans” events all over the country and abroad, which has created a community of loyalists and pushed the brand identity. However, House of Vans’ Anna Sherwood has her own take on it:
“I think House of Vans, the building itself, is the branding we want to do. Having people know what the space is, is pretty much the only thing we care about. We wanted to build a creative space where our fans and the community could hang out and I think that’s what we’ve done.”
Local Expectations
Hosting an eclectic mix of talent in a catered workshop in Mumbai, House of Vans has planned a varied event that includes a custom shoe design workshop by Jas Charanjiva of Kulture Shop , followed by musical acts by Nischay ParekhJivraj Singh and Sky Rabbit.
