An industry leader in lifestyle and athleisure footwear since the past two decades, SKECHERS, is officially launching its ‘Premium Heritage Collection,’ a series of novelty sneakers that aims to capture the hype market with its bold designs.
The heritage drop is led by three distinct offerings; one variant of the classic D’lites and two offerings from the D’lites 3.0. A notable aspect about this premium collection launch is the audacious design of every pair featured in the drop. The Skecher’s heritage collection leans towards the style end whilst upholding the Skechers standard for comfort & durability. It is a bevy of intricately designed chunky sneakers which has gained its own cult following; crafted to stand out from market challengers, both online & on the rack.
It undoubtedly makes a bold statement by employing the forces of design detail, iconic outsoles and quality materials. The collection is specifically tailored to satiate the need of the fashion forward ‘hype.’
Probing the shoes itself, highlights the collection’s defining characteristic. Each shoe carries a distinct style signature. For starters, the D’lite Golden idea sneaker yields a rather subtle & swanky look, by blending glossy black leather tops with gold-chain detailing, placed carefully over tough, white & chunky midsoles - one not for the faint hearted and those with minimalist taste. The D-lite golden idea variant is dressy, luxe and a top selection.
The D’lites 3.0s on the other hand are a far more camp yet tasteful play on colour, bling and design-work. The first in range is the ‘Cheetah queen’; a work of art tailored for the 21st century individual who cannot be confined. It’s a loud sneaker featuring multi-coloured cheetah prints in combination with jewel studded laces that deliver authentic animal power - a message of individuality and confidence.
The second face of the Skechers D’lites 3.0 is the ‘flashy stud’ a chunky & textured white silhouette, layered with shards of silver and overall bling. This bright piece runs with modern logo trends, owing to the notable, glassy & black, ‘D’lite’ placement. The ‘D’lite’ logo is in form of a massive rhinestone embellishment made right over the sneaker’s Velcro strap. The sneaker’s face is laced with honey-comb / snakeskin detailing; highlighted by ornate jewel & silver insertions all over. The flashy stud is a ritzy, upscale mold that caters to the glamorous. Despite being distinct in build, look & feel - all three classes, the golden idea, cheetah queen & flashy stud are engineered for comfort.
