There is no denying the fact there is something iconic about Drawn, as a brand that makes it instantly recognisable. On paper, it is something that boggles my mind - how a brand that works with artists of varying styles to create original prints for them, somehow seems to find a cohesiveness that is so uniquely ‘DRAWN’. But that is the magic of signature silhouettes and the power of an overarching vision in creating an instantly recognisable fashion label.

Barely 5 years into its inception, Drawn - an independent fashion label founded by Rhea Bhattacharya, continues to find a place of renown among high-street fashion through its signatory blend of elegant silhouettes, and by being a medium of artistic expression. Established in 2020, Drawn has garnered attention for its pret collections, especially its love for bold colours,  innovative but polished silhouettes, and limited-edition prints created in collaboration with renowned artists from across the world, that evoke a sense of individuality and creativity.

The brand’s founding ethos of being a narrative-driven, art-inspired brand that creates trans-seasonal pieces is perfectly encapsulated in its Fall 2024 collection, which debuted in November. In collaboration with Tuscan artist Azzurra Galatolo, the collection draws inspiration from nature’s enchanting beauty. Galatolo’s whimsical, nature-inspired prints grace a palette of off-whites, rich fuchsia pinks, deep burgundies, lilacs, amber, and sage green.

According to the brand, the pieces from the collection are crafted to celebrate colour and comfort, and designed to be mixed, matched and layered to one’s every whim and fancy. It is also a great reminder of Drawn’s commitment to crafting wearable art in alignment with its founding philosophy of making sartorial choices a form of self-expression. In talking about the collection, the brand founder Rhea Bhattacharya shared in their Press Release that "This collection is crafted for the woman who wants versatility without compromising style. It’s indulgent yet easy, vibrant yet relaxed, and the perfect way to round off the year.''

With its vibrant hues, flowing dresses, tailored shirts and co-ord sets, and dramatic layering pieces that invite wearers the collection is designed to inspire confidence and elevate everyday dressing. The versatile designs offer the wearer a seamless transition from day to night, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on functionality and flair. By combining timeless elegance with a modern artistic edge, Drawn continues to set itself apart as a leader in the high-fashion contemporary pret realm. This Fall 2024 collection in particular is not just a celebration of the season, but an invitation to embrace creativity through clothing.
