The election season is upon us this summer – and wherever you are in this country, Homegrown urges you to go out and vote! In the 70 years of India’s history as a democracy, the 2019 elections may well be the most crucial yet. This summer, we’re at the threshold of a decision that will go on to determine the political culture of India for the next five years and needless to say, every vote counts. The Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in seven phases with each phase holding elections in particular constituencies across all states and union territories in India.
While the voting period is from 11th April to 19th May, the counting of votes will be carried out on 23rd May.
