Built on the back of ownership, decentralisation, and a refusal to conform to industry gatekeeping, MADverse has become the go-to platform for independent artists, and has already changed how music is released, tracked, and shared. What began as a distribution service has grown into a larger system — one that gives musicians the infrastructure to retain control, split royalties fairly, and release work on their own terms.
The Empower Fund is an extension of that same intent. Introduced in 2023, the grant was created to provide straightforward, early-stage financial support to musicians working outside the label system. Now in its second edition, the 2025 grant will award two selected artists with ₹75,000 each to support their upcoming projects. With over 250 applications already submitted, the grant is open to artists across all genres, languages, and regions.
"Empower Fund is a reflection of our long-term vision to support, spotlight, and scale independent voices in music. While tools and services can help artists elevate their craft, with the Empower Fund, we also want to ensure they have the resources to lay a strong foundation for their creative journey."Rohan Nesho Jain, Founder & CEO, Madverse Music
