A 12-Day Road Trip Across The Unexplored Terrains Of Odisha – Apply Now

From helping the unsighted engage with the world around them to electrifying remote Ladakhi villages to learning how to compost in the hilly terrain of Uttarakhand, travel companies today are experimenting in every way possible. They’re not only trying enhance the thrill of discovering new places but also attempting to make the idea of travel more inclusive and conscious. Experience Co., one of the many pioneers in this space, is doing just that by bringing together a community of creators from all over the world.

A space for movement-creators to connect, collaborate, create and grow while travelling, Experience Co’s ‘Roadtrip Experience Project’ is inviting applications for its fifth season and is taking its participants to the unexplored state of Odisha in India. Travellers will be visiting cities like Puri, Raghurajpur, Konark, Bhubaneshwar, Gopalpur, Mangalajodi, and Satkosia.

The idea is simple yet enthralling - 14 travellers will embark on a first-of-its-kind road trip across the state of Odisha. They will interact with locals, dive into the state’s cuisine, film the beautiful landscapes along the way, create art murals with low-income communities, build travel residencies and more. The idea is for these unique group of travellers to make the most of their time and energy by paying attention to the needs of the locals and have fun simultaneously.

A magical journey for these creators to bond and #FindTheX, #rtxproject is a “generative travel experiment which brings artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, storytellers and creators from diverse backgrounds and geographies on a journey to connect, collaborate and create projects while travelling.” After successfully completing the voyage, the 14 travellers will officially be a part of the the ‘Tribe’ - a special collective of handpicked artists, activists, musicians, producers, designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, scientists and talented creators, including those who have taken part in the previous seasons of Roadtrip Experience Project. Today, the Tribe consists of over 70 creators & influencers from 4 countries.

Previously, the Roadtrip Experience Project has taken travellers to places like Vietnam, Sri Lanka, North East India, Lahaul & Spiti. You can know more about these trips by visiting their website. If you’ve been a part of the experience before, you can still apply and do it all over again.
