Anime India Delhi 2026 arrives at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre on June 6 and 7, bringing together cosplay, gaming tournaments, fan panels, artists, live performances and anime icons like Kazuhiko Inoue and YURiKA.
On June 6 and 7, Anime India Delhi 2026 will take over the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, bringing together cosplay, concerts, gaming, fan culture and some of anime’s biggest names under one roof. One of the country’s largest celebrations of Japanese pop culture, the two-day event promises to be an immersive experience for everyone from lifelong anime devotees to curious newcomers. Tickets for the event begin at ₹499, with premium passes offering access to additional experiences, including live performances.
At the centre of the excitement is legendary Japanese voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue, best known as the voice behind Kakashi Hatake from Naruto. For many fans who grew up watching anime in the early 2000s, his appearance alone is likely to be reason enough to attend. Inoue, whose body of work also spans titles like One Piece and Bleach, will be participating in live interactions and fan sessions during the convention.
Spread across three stages and multiple immersive zones, the festival is designed to replicate the scale and energy of global anime conventions. Attendees can expect cosplay showcases, anime quizzes, singing battles, fan panels and art contests alongside discussions dedicated to beloved franchises and genres. Whether your loyalty lies with Demon Slayer, Spy x Family, Neon Genesis Evangelion or Fate/stay night, chances are there will be a panel or community space dedicated to your obsession.
For gamers, the convention includes competitive tournaments featuring titles such as Super Smash Bros. and Street Fighter 6, alongside arcade experiences and tabletop gaming activations. Independent creators and illustrators will populate the Artists’ Alley, offering fan art, prints and collectibles for attendees looking to take a piece of the experience home. Dedicated spaces such as the Cosplay Realm, Japan Pavilion and themed exhibitor booths inspired by anime franchises are also expected to feature prominently across the venue.
Music will play a major role too. Japanese artist YURiKA, known for performing anime theme songs, is set to perform live, adding to the concert-like atmosphere that many conventions internationally are known for.
The scale of Anime India also says something larger about anime culture in the country. Once dismissed as niche, anime fandom in India has grown into one of the most loyal and participatory fan communities around. Fans do not merely watch shows; they cosplay characters, debate story arcs, attend conventions and build entire online communities around shared interests. That enthusiasm is precisely what events like Anime India thrive on.
