When Sangeet Paryani and Nisha Lulla founded Superkicks back in 2018, streetwear culture in India was still at a nascent stage. In many ways, Superkicks was the catalyse that kickstarted the streetwear movement in India with their limited edition sneaker drops, artist collabs, and out-of-the-box campaigns and events. Somewhere between the Gen Z affinity for candid self-expression and the Millennial love for fast-paced fashion trends, Superkicks positioned itself as the face of street fashion in India.
Six years and four retail stores in Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru later, Superkicks is coming to Jaipur with a fifth store and a festive party at Paro - Modern Indian Bar on Friday, October 18. As a pre-festive celebration, this evening of fashion, music, and community will blend style, street culture, and creativity, setting the perfect tone for the festive season in true Superkicks fashion.
The event will feature electrifying performances by DJ Lush Lata — bringing her dynamic mix of hip-hop, bass, footwork, and R&B — and Digvijay Singh Jasana — with his electric fusion set — ensuring an unforgettable musical experience for all guests. To add icing on the cake, Superkicks will also introduce a curated pop-up featuring international streetwear brands like Represent, Sporty & Rich, and BBC Ice Cream — available exclusively in India through Superkicks — for the very first time in Jaipur at the event which will see Superkicks drop two limited-edition t-shirts designed especially for the occasion.
A return to co-founder Sangeet Paryani's hometown, the opening of the fifth Superkicks store in Jaipur marks a significant moment in the brand's history. The Superkicks × Paro - Modern Indian Bar Homecoming Festive Party will not only celebrate the Superkicks story but pay homage to the vibrant culture of Jaipur and Rajasthan.
