From holidays at the beach to biting into a mango, or sipping at a summer cooler while waiting for the rain, Indian summers have always been suffused with the spirit of escape. This summer, Casa Bacardi and Homegrown are bringing you the best of Indian summers with a beach house takeover on June 14.
At GoRally Pickleball in Bengaluru, the Bacardi Beach Club is hosting six music performances, a photo studio, and fashion and F&B pop-ups — all paired with refreshing Bacardi summer cocktails. Here’s what you should expect:
For one night only, the Bacardi Beach House will host six of the country’s most exciting house musicians. Lady Shaka, a DJ and artist known for her high-energy music and strong cultural influences, will mix electronic music with sounds and stories inspired by her Pacific Island heritage. Kampai, the solo music project of Bengaluru-based DJ, curator, and artist Rumit Virmani, will bring his borderless, bass-heavy sound, which seamlessly blends Afro House, Trap, Future Beats, Baile Funk, and UK Garage. The line-up also features the multidisciplinary DJ/producer duo Arjun Nair and Nishanth Naidu, better known as ANSWER; Bangalore-based DJ and solo artist Reflected Ray; Mumbai-based DJ and producer Farhaan Rehman; and Bangalore-based DJ KLY, known for his groove-led, jazz-inflected sets. Bombie completes the line-up for a night that promises never to stop.
Powerhouse trio Fyah Squad, featuring Divya Easwaran, Swady, and Deepshri, will set the dance floor on fire with their high-energy blend of African and Dancehall styles.
Beyond Burgers, Lick Ice Cream, and Mezcalita will ensure a steady supply of loaded burgers, indulgent sides, handcrafted ice creams, and authentic Mexican food and tequila-forward cocktails.
Homegrown streetwear and lifestyle labels Vitamin Di, Sunday Molly, and Siyu Eyewear will jazz up your personal style with a curated collection of hand-crocheted bikinis, resortwear, sleepwear, and sunglasses. Bangalore-based fashion and portrait photographer Lekha Ratnam will bring her distinctive visual language to a one-day-only photo studio to showcase your swagger with your friends. Or you can head to the immersive photo booth to capture and share moments from the experience with your circle.
