FORESIGHT is a virtual exhibition experience that showcases a 3D model of a beautifully illustrated and designed futuristic gallery via Instagram. The pieces of artwork depicted are by Yash Pradhan himself and are completely interactive in nature. Yash Pradhan is a digital artist, illustrator and design enthusiast from Mumbai and he describes his inspirations stemming from, “my daily experiences and observations. The nitty-gritty of everyday life fascinates me and provides abundant opportunity to be inspired from.”
In the form of an Instagram filter, this augmented reality experience places a 3-D model of a gallery that displays various artworks created by Yash. In the view of the current crisis, experiential and virtual exhibitions or events are becoming increasingly accessible. FORESIGHT created by Yash is intricately imagined and can be placed anywhere–-in your room, balcony, an empty street–-any space you can possibly think of.
Versions of augmented reality generated experiences can be used in multiple fields, from education to healthcare. Yash Pradhan’s explores the use of this technology by visually depicting forms of art he has created. Also, expanding the reach of experiential viewing into newly innovated encounters such as an art gallery through an Instagram filter.
